The fine print, plain-spoken

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of workshopzone.in(the "Platform"), operated by Tuvis Ventures Private Limited ("WorkshopZone", "we", "us"). By creating an account, listing a workshop, or booking a workshop, you agree to these Terms in full.

The Platform connects two distinct user groups: hosts who list and run workshops, and attendees who discover and book those workshops. Different sections of these Terms apply to each group.

• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for any activity that takes place under your account.
• You must provide accurate, current information when registering and keep it up to date.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, misrepresent themselves, or repeatedly attract complaints.

When an attendee books a workshop, WorkshopZone charges a booking fee of 7% of the workshop's listed price plus 18% IGST applied to that fee. The fee is added on top of the host's listed price and shown to the attendee before payment is taken. Hosts always receive the full price they listed; the booking fee + GST is retained by WorkshopZone.

The booking fee covers payment processing, refund handling, fraud monitoring, customer support, WhatsApp/email notifications, and the marketplace itself. It is not a markup on the host's price and is not negotiable.

All payments are processed through Razorpay Payments. We accept credit and debit cards, UPI, net banking, and supported wallets. All amounts are in Indian Rupees (INR).

Hosts may operate on the Free plan indefinitely, or subscribe to Pro (₹499/month), Studio (₹1,599/month) or Enterprise (custom pricing) to unlock CRM, analytics, branding and growth features. The booking fee in Section 3 applies equally to every plan.

• Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance and are non-refundable.
• Upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades take effect at the end of the current billing cycle.
• Failed renewal payments may result in the account being moved to a past-due state and, after 7 days, downgraded to the Free plan.
• Add-ons or one-off purchases on any tier are non-refundable once consumed.

• Listings must accurately describe the workshop, including format (online / offline / hybrid), duration, location, what is included, and any prerequisites.
• Hosts must hold the rights to any images, materials and content they upload.
• Hosts must conduct workshops as advertised, on the scheduled date and time, and provide a safe environment for attendees.
• Hosts must respond to attendee questions in a reasonable time and honour the cancellation policy in the Refund & Cancellation Policy.
• Hosts must comply with applicable laws, including any required permits, GST registration, and consumer-protection rules.
• Repeated cancellations, no-shows, fraudulent listings or abusive behaviour may result in suspension or removal from the Platform.

• Attendees must provide accurate contact information so the host can communicate workshop details.
• Attendees must arrive on time, follow any rules set by the host, and treat hosts and other attendees with respect.
• Refunds are governed by the Refund & Cancellation Policy and are not at the host's discretion.
• Reselling or transferring a booking to another person is not permitted without the host's explicit consent.

All refunds and cancellations are governed by the Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these Terms by reference. The three-tier cancellation window (Early / Mid / Late) applies equally to online, offline and hybrid workshops.

Where a refund is due, WorkshopZone refunds the gross amount paid by the attendee (workshop price + booking fee + IGST) according to the tier in effect.

You agree not to:

• Post content that is illegal, defamatory, hateful, sexually explicit, or that infringes any intellectual-property right.
• List workshops that promote dangerous, unsafe or fraudulent activities.
• Use the Platform to collect personal data about other users outside the booking flow.
• Attempt to circumvent the booking fee by directing attendees to pay outside the Platform.
• Reverse-engineer, scrape or interfere with the Platform's normal operation.

Hosts retain ownership of the content they upload (descriptions, images, materials). By uploading, you grant WorkshopZone a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to display, reproduce and distribute that content for the purpose of operating and promoting the Platform.

The WorkshopZone name, logo, software, and original content on the Platform are owned by Tuvis Ventures Private Limited and may not be copied or reused without written permission.

WorkshopZone is a marketplace. We do not run the workshops listed on the Platform and are not responsible for the conduct, safety or quality of any host's session. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of these Terms is limited to the booking fee retained by us in respect of the relevant booking.

We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted or error-free. We make reasonable efforts to maintain availability but do not guarantee any specific uptime.

You may delete your account at any time from your dashboard. We may suspend or terminate access immediately if you breach these Terms, misuse the Platform, or attract repeated complaints. Upon termination, outstanding host payouts will be released according to our normal schedule and any unfulfilled bookings will be refunded under the Refund & Cancellation Policy.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on the Platform and notified to active users at least 7 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
